Fabian earned his diploma degree in Physics (focus: astroparticle & solid-state physics) from Humboldt University Berlin in collaboration with DESY Zeuthen, Germany. He then moved to Australia, where he obtained his PhD from Swinburne University of Technology in Matthew Bailes’ group (thesis: “Spectral and rotational properties of radio pulsars”). Since 2018, he has worked as Research Associate in Ben Stappers’ group at the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester, UK.
