Software

I designed, implemented, and maintained the following software in the past and continue to do so for some of them.

Please submit Git pull requests for improvements or corrections. Those are much appreciated. I have started adding suggestions for help on the GitHub issue trackers, if you want to have a look.

  • scatfit – pulsar pulse or FRB simulation and data fitting software suite.

  • spanalysis – single-pulse data analysis software suite.

  • fitpdf – Bayesian distribution fitting software.

  • nenufartools – a few simple Python tools for the NenuFAR telescope.

  • skymap – create and visualise sky map data in HEALPix format.

  • psrmatch – match single-pulse detections to known sources, such as canonical pulsars or Rotating Radio Transients.

  • meertrap_misc – miscellaneous software for the MeerTRAP project. Mostly integrated elsewhere.

  • meertrig – VOEvent triggering tools for the MeerTRAP real-time system. With Marina Berezina and Ewan Barr.

  • candidate_website – candidate viewing website for MeerTRAP and other projects. Taken over by Mat Malenta later.

  • meertrapdb – database backend and survey analysis code for the MeerTRAP project at the MeerKAT telscope.

  • tusemcs – control system for the TUSE MeerTRAP instrument at the MeerKAT telescope. Mostly taken over by Vincent Morello later. Stable implementation.

  • molsoft – high-level observing software for the refurbished Molonglo radio telescope (UTMOST). Telescope now retired, RIP.
